Passed my SVA retest today at Norwich.
Had the same inspector as my original SVA (Les). Quickly went through the three things i had failed on, took my money and gave me a MAC.
Double bonus was that our friendly local DVLA inspector from Ipswich was at the test centre all morning. So he was willing and able to inspect my car
and take more money off me for my registration and tax. He confirmed that an age related plate will be issued.
All being well i should have my reg doc on Friday, when i pick it up from the DVLA office as agreed with the inspector.
Got home, whipped the sierra steering wheel off and stuck my Moutney one on.
Just need to fix a westfield gearbox mount in place to stop the prop knocking my chassis tunnel on left handers.
Thanks to everyone for the help and advice given both directly and indirectly, especially Rich (Blockhead Rich)
Cheers
Gary
