The DVLA pulled out all the stops and processed my paperwork in a couple of hours - and I got an age related plate which they said I wouldn't.
Can't wait to have a drive!

Just remember to go softly-softly for a while, and work up to going fast - it's far too easy to throw yourself off the road in these things,
until you've worked out how they behave!
