SVA Check on wheels and hubs

Just a quick one... i have a set of Capri Laser (13" wheels on the car but the studs I have to use are not the same dia. as the holes in the wheels... Any ideas if this is going to be an issue.. As I can sort it if it is...

they wont be,its the taper of the wheel nuts and the spigot that holds them in place

They will check to see if the taper on the wheel nuts matches the taper on the wheel though.

If you have the standard chromed swivel taperd wheel nuts, they will not even bother to check the nuts. People forget that the SVA testers live eat and breathe cars, they really know their stuff (and VERY wise to bodges, dodges, and mythical pass cons!)

We have the proper tapered chrome nuts and we had to remove one at SVA to check that they had the correct taper washer and number of threads engaged.

How many threads should there be engage on wheel nuts? IIRC the recommended is 1.5x the thread dia on normal applications, which would be 15mm on ford hubs.

I have the nuts that came with my wheels, they dont have the swivelling taper bit on though.
