Hi all, anyone know if 4" diameter headlamps are ok for sva? i've just found some they've got main/dip beam and side light "e" marked glass all in a nice chrome unit and only £35 each
Do they dip to the left, If so then I cant see why not.
don't know, but the guy says he sells them to classic car people so i suppose they're legal for british roads
If you have to pass SVA I would try and make sure or it could be £70 down the tubes

If they don't dip left then chances are you won't pass SVA.
They may pass MOT but that's a different issue!
Most of the 4" ones I've seen dip down not left as they are motorbike lights.
HTH,
James
ok, looks like i'll have to get back to him and check that out
The smallest diameter SVA compliant headlights you will find anywhere, are 5.75".
The smaller diameter headlights are not SVA compliant and will almost certainly fail without extensive modifications. By all means fit them after SVA
if that's what you fancy.
If you want quality headlights or any other lights for that matter, you won't go wrong with the products that SVC supply.
