After the saga of the last SVA attempt (see post - late for SVA!!) the second attempt almost ended the same way. It all started well 6.15 start for a
42 mile trip to Beverley test centre and 8.00 test. All went well until 2 miles past the Humber bridge at which point the blade engine went dead
after 25 mins checking everything possible I took off the filler cap and ....whoosh... air lock released the fuel pump started pumping again and off
we went arriving at 7.58 ....perfect. Ran through the test in about 2 hours and he pulled me up on edge rad of dash panel, interior mirror not
'fixed' (suction jobbie) and lack of self centring. A quick phone call to MK saw me dialling in 'silly' amounts of toe-out which
sorted the steering and a bit of new edge trim and super glue saw the other two sorted..........yeah a pass!!
On to the DVLA for a reg and then a set of plates and I'm all legal in one day. If only the first try could have gone so well....I even got an MK
plate.................Q619 MKH
See you on the roads
Cheers
