digi dash-attached to steering wheel

Hi all ,
Does anybody know if there is a rule against having my digidash fitted to my steering wheel when i go for sva.

I am going to do this, but I think that a padded surround will need to be fitted that extends infront of the unit (around the outside edge). Just for sva though

hi martin,
i have a acewell and it fits perfect into top aperture of my steering wheel but was not sure of the regs etc- seems to make sense to me

have you considered how hard or not it will be to read when not in the horizontal position when steering?

my personal view is that SVA should allow it if digital casue then you are doing 18 mph and display is upside down, the display shows 81, so that ain't right.

NB my view not that of SVA.

Look, if you have your steering upside down at 81mph, you are dead !
Especially with a 1 1/4 turn lock to lock rack !
