Do I need to get my front lights aligned for sva.

I'm planning on asking my local friendly garage to do a mock mot without any on the paper/computer work to help with things such as that.

Will be well worth the money in my view.

A simple way to align your headlights, is to mark out the pattern of your tintop lights on garage door or similar. Use tape to mark the top edge and where the beam kicks up on the left. Measure the distance between headlights and garage door and then line up the headlights on your kit car so they produce the same pattern.

During my SVA ,the inspector aligned them for me.

Don't forget to allow for the difference in height between the two sets of headlights though.

I aligned mine on the garage door and passed fine at SVA.
