If you have a Q plated car wich year of manufacture is stated on your car papers??
Tks
2007
Before you ask, emissions regulations are explicitly stated on the bottom of the V5. But year of manufacture is 2007.

Or not, in my case (SVA and Q reg October 2005)
i'll be a Q plate and my mac says co2 and hc both N/A
It will show the year that it was first registered.
and wich year is that??

Same problem in Belgium. Need to finish car before 2009 as EURO5 is required then!!!
In Belgium there's 2 options, meet the emission regulation of the year the car is SVA'd/registered or don't register and run it on
papers of a oldtimer with O-plates (no MoT, no nothing) as a escort MK2 or something similar. But O-plates have the limitation that you cannot drive
at night, not allowed to drive whenever you want, you need to prove that you're driving to or from a meeting or in preparation for a meeting. And
afterall, a Seven registered as escort or similar in not very legal.
But that's it. So all regular registered kitcars in belgium have injection just to meet Euro3 or euro4 depending on first registration date.
Another option is to start a business in the uk, register the car to it and keep it running on uk plates, not very legal either I think, but hey, be
creative
how do you prove you now meet EURO4??
Tks
Here in Belgium, when you import a car that has no declaration of conformity for Belgium needs to be presented at a homologationtest where all this
stuff is tested.
One of the requirements too is that you need a ECU with 3d map.
