sva advise needed

im looking at a finished car on friday which has been used for sprinting for a few years but never registered.
it ticks all my boxes and has a mid 70,s engine and the kit is made by a reputable manufacturer .what is the procedure for me to get it sva,d and what sort of timescale would i be looking at ?? idont mind getting a q as its a mish mash of different parts Rescued attachment e39e_0.jpg

You'll want as much as possible of the build receipts, failing that I guess a decent receipt for the whole vehicle stating what & where the parts have come from should suffice. Then it's sort the lighting out - possible ground clearance issues if it's set very low cover the sharp edges stick a speedo in & apply for sva.

you'll need to get qa copy of the SVA manual and go through that.

the fact the kit is from reputable manufacturer means nothing if it was not built for SVA in mind - there may be all sorts of stuff like instrument bezels, seat belat mounint height, dash radius, pointy bits, noise etc etc ....
