Changing engine

I had the question posed to me earlier,
if build your car and get it all SVA'd and road legal, what then happens is 6 months down the line you wanted to upgrade to a newer, better engine? (Like going from a 1.6 Zetec to a 2.0 Zetec fo instance). How does that effect your emissions etc. for later MOTs?

No, failed SVA due to a few minor edges (the monuting bracket under headlamps and the front cyclewings not far enough forward) and the killer "insufficient proof of engine age"

Working at resolving that now...

suprised he found any edges, and never thought to look at the cycle wings to be honest.

not a bad fail though.
