Brake and Fuel Pipe Fixing
ChrisS - 9/7/07 at 08:41 AM

Can anyone say whether it isactually an SVA requirement to P-Clip and rivet the brake and fuel pipes i the tunnel, as ive used proper production car combined clip for brake and fuel, and theres no way they will come out of the clips, and now after reading something in a magazine last night, im wondering if ive done the wrong thing.

Cheers.

Should be fine if it a production car method used correctly.

Chris
I would suggest that if you are at all concerned that you contact the SVA centre you intend using and ask them their opinion.

Production car pop in clips are fine --- better than P clips

Where would I get some of these ? I go to my local factors and they'll ask for number plate.

It seems you cant go anymore saying some of those - you know- sort of plastic clippy things -no not that- more like this.

The part your looking for is a landrover part no: NTC 8242. They are very useful indeed.
