Covering up the front end stuff
The Doc - 28/8/07 at 04:50 PM

OK I've done the upper ball joints, the track rods, most of the nuts, the bottom edges of the shocks.

Now which of the suspension/wishbone brackets need attention and

what about the nuts on the upper and lower ball joints and

the bolt heads which hold the lower swivel to the wishbone.

I guess that the sphere can't get to all of these

What's the diameter of the sphere?

Not sure on the diameter of the sphere, but if you can see a nut, put a cover on it.

It's a lot to do with appearance and will look better to the inspector if every nut is covered.

You can't go wrong then.

As mentioned if it looks like it might be an issue, cover it!

Presentation and first impresssions are about 50% of the test IMHO, if the tester looks at the car and thinks 'that's a a bloody nice car' then you're half way there!!

So cover everything and clean everything so it looks ace.
