Is it true that in the U.K. cars with engines of 1300cc or less do not need to pass emissions regs to be registered?
Is this why bec's are so popular over there?
trying to settle a bet...Fletch
not true im afraid, bikes are popular because, well have a ride in one and find out
all cars of all sizes have to pass a yearly mot test.
Depending on reg dates, different emission rules apply.
A bike engine is used for power to weight performance, nowt to do with legalities!

Thats what I thought.Friend of mine is trying to fool me I guess.
Oh, by the way Steve,I just took a look at your web site it's really good!
I too took the long road to make my fenders and I WILL buy the nose ready made.
In the 60's there was a kit car in the U.S. called the valkyrie(no matter how I spell that it does'nt look right)
It was loosely based on the ford gt-40.
The sexy chic on the horse would make for a great hood ornament! (just kidding)

Thanks for the compliments!
I need to do a lot more work on it - the grp was summat I felt I should write up before I forgot it. Still loads more grp to go - starting on the next
bits in about a month when the rear suspension gets modded and aligned. Its outa whack at the moment.
I might do some stuff on my engine next as there is very little resource on the cologne V6 ford.
I just like the name valkyrie, even tho honda used it for a bike - i think i can get a good logo out of the 'V' as a play on V6.
You can get custom rear wheel covers made with black and white graphics - cost about 100 us tho - 70 uk. I will choose a good graphic then ... cept I
don think my wife will aprove of anything too sexist!
