Will it be legal to tow are car to a track day using a towing dolly? You know one of those that just the front two wheels sit into. The car is not registerd, no MOT and aint even passed the SVA.

I don't think you can, but then again, I've never seen anyone prosecuted yet either.

What about an A frame or am I missunderstanding the laws.
It seems to say that the car would count as a trailer and would be OK without brakes as long as its under 750kg.
The rules on recovery don't seem to apply to the A frame just the dolly.

If car is in contact with the road it should be taxed.

If you bend the car you have no hope of getting it home on a dolly.

You are unlikely to be pulled over but you never know...

If you use a car or keep a car on the road it needs tax but towing is different, it becomes a trailer
