Do we get any receipt that our SVA papers are properly recieved and that they will send a date out as fast as possible??

is there any way one can call to ask if they recieve an appointment??

after about 2 weeks i got a call from nottingham sva with a date.

i just said what i said because the original post just said

"SVA papers"

a call???

and what if you live outside the UK??

i'm waiting since July on an SVA date.

looks like the DVLA is ignoring me

You are in Spain right? That is one hell of a walk for our post men, he is probalby still swimming the channel.

don't you have to get your car inspected in spain? never thought about how it works in other countries. i thought the SVA process was just a UK thing

and what if you are at work? how do you recieve the home call? or how should one read this??

I sent my papers in, 2 days later Nottingham VOSA rang me with a date, this was then confirmed by mail. If you have been waiting since july I would suggest there is a problem. The VOSA centres have there numbers advertised on the website, try ringing the one you gave first preference for

Vosa doesnt accept foreigners (from other countries) anymore.
