Does the brake fluid warning symbol have to have light shining through it, or be highlited against an illuminated surface,or can the appropriate(sp) symbol be on an opaque surface with a surrounding circle of red light??
happen to have the manual open in front of me,
Quote
"labelled in regonised form" means displaying a regognised symbol by the motor industry (ie a circle containing and exclaimation mark with
brake shoe segments on either side) on the illuminating surface
Ah but look at the savage switches and the light shines through the symbol (if you see what i mean) therefore its not really on the light surface.
Similarly could it be within a ring of light??
ie a savage blank warning light which has an outer illuminated ring with a silver centre containing the symbol.

i think if you did what i think you mean, at night it could argued that it would appear as just a red circle, and not actually show the symbol.
I can't actually draw what i mean, i'll try and find pictures on the internet
i think it can only go like this where the symbol lights up
or like this where it shows on a red background
your way may just show as a red circle at night
I'm not right sure whats being said here? I'm using the savage warning light, the one thats silver and matches the switches because I know that this is SVA friendly looking through peoples photos. Razmans for example if that clears owt up.
Im using the savage warning light, (it isnt a switch!!), and when lit it looks like the top picture, (without the word brake). Im with Grumpy as Im not sure whats being said either!!
Mines is savage esque but the fluid warning logo was not available
Ah so you've got a circular light without the symbol on unless you draw it on. I don't reckon they'll have that
