Annex 1 requirements for obligatory lights

It says:

Dipped beam headlamps minimum 500mm from ground level, is that to any point of the headlight or the very bottom?

Direction indicators minimum 350mm from ground level, again is that to any point of the headlight or the very bottom?

Either way I’d have to jack the car up 100mm, different shocks!!!! Bug –ger!!!!!

someone has suggested i put on 70 s tyres on and wind up the ride height ?

usually max./min distance are to edge of illuminated or reflective surface but...

minimum headlamp height as above but maximum height for dipped beam is the apparent trace of the beam cut off on the lens.
