Switches and Warning Lights
StevieB - 20/1/08 at 09:47 PM

I'm using the bike clocks and switches in my Indy and am trying to figure out which additional switches and warning lights I need to get for SVA.

So far I can figure:

Hazard switch and warning light
Fog switch and warning light
Brake warning light and test switch
Fan switch and warning light (not SVA, but want it)

Is there anything I'm missing?

Think thats the lot, at least I hope so as that's what I've got!

Cheers

The only other thing I could think of was a handbrake warning light, but there's no requirement I can find in the SVA manual

I'd still fit one, I take it the main beam lights on the clocks?

Could you not designate your handbrake to be the switch that tests the warning light?

That's pretty much as it is in production cars

Thats the normal way to do it, hand brake wired through the brake fluid warning switch, hand brake up, light on, hand brake down light off, if light stays on fluid is low,SVA man happy.

Cool - one less switch to wire up (it's just not the thing I'm best at!)
