I've just taken my registration application to our local DVLA Office in Exeter and I have to say that the service was absolutely amazing.
After a two minute wait I went to the counter, told the girl behind it why I was there. She said she would fetch a manager because it was a kitcar. He
arrived, knew who I was without being told, got the paperwork and within ten minutes the car was taxed and I had the authorisation needed to get the
plates made up. After all the stories I really could not believe that it was that easy.
Well done DVLA.

blimey, i never thought i would hear a good word about the DVLA
Its good to hear that its not always an uphill struggle with them
shame its not the same everywhere
It is so nice when things go right
I expect you were well pleased
I have used the Truro office a few times, very helpfull & efficient.
Ronnie
Birmingham office were spot on when I did mine.
And again when I changed the engine and re registered it.

I'm looking forward to seeing the "wee beasty" one day John.
Waiting for the last piece of the jigsaw must be like sitting on hot bricks.

Hi Paul,
With everyone's permission, I'd like to gatecrash one of your East Anglian meetings and give the car an airing perhaps early in the
Summer.
Yes, the last bits have dragged but we are getting there now. I've just ordered the number plates but before I get to drive the car properly,
I've an appointment with my engine builder to have it set up properly on his rolling road. Realistically, we are probably still ten days away
from blast off.
I've put the waiting time to good use by building in some storage space in preparation for our forthcoming raids into France. I'll post a
picture or two.
