My friend will be all good to go as soon as Westfield have found his fuel rail that they lost when it needed to be modified for the Busa engine.
When he last spoke to his local Mitcham office they said 2 weeks, this is now 4 weeks minimum.
We both are due at Donnington for a road trip and track session 4-5-6 April '08 and he needs his sva quickly.
Anybody know how you can speed it up or is he stuffed? He is willing to trailer to a further afield station if need be
You could offer to be available on short notice for a cancellation - but I would imagine that you would have to be there within a short time after the summons.
I'd have a ring around if I was you.
Linky to DOFT!
Mike
He could borrow the ID off another car? One that already has an SVA (and a tax dics!)It's also known as 'ringing' and is illegal but if needs must.......
Sounds all legit!!!!
HE is on a waiting list and being slef employed he can take it to a station at a drop of a hat, which is lucky.
will pass on the station list details and get him calling around
What about paying the extra for a Saturday test?
You might find that there is no demand because of the extra cost.
I rang gillingham last week to check waiting times and was told its 1 week.
However one of the testers was killed in a car crash so it may now be longer.

When you send off the SVA application make sure you include photo's of the build or you will get a letter back asking for them.
Just had to post mine today!!!!
