failed this am at leighton buzzard - minor items
top seatbelt bracket edges need shroud or radiuses
front mudguard front edge needs adjusting forward to cover rim vertically
radiuses on boot lock and ecu in passenger well
radius's on reflectors - dissapointing as they came from a well known supplier
front indicators need raising 15mm , they have sagged on my temporary brackets
Hopefully all fairly easy to fix. helpfull guy . he let me adjust my megasquirt to get the emissions to pass - took me 15mins with the lap top

only other downer getting wet and loosing the rear end on the way home !!!

you should fix those bit not probs at all andthen get round to fixing that fence
oh, please tell me that boot rack base stuck in the grille is not a permanent fixture sorry but it is truly horrid - nip down big Tesco and fish
out a trolley from the river.
4 bolts and its off, or i fit it recessed as the luego manual after sva pass - but i quite like it !!!
the fence is done - i just need to avoid my next set of orders from the misses !!

In the photo the front wings look well forward of the wheel rim edge???
No you have me worried as mine are only a few mm forward!

top seatbelt bracket edges need shroud or radiuses - i stuck some rubber u-trim around mine. Was a bit fiddly but worked with superglue. Alternative
is to get some covers off a car in scrappy.

extension - bit like a mud flap. You have to be mindful of solving one fail but causing another though.

id been told aabout it so increased the rad before the test - i just used stanley knife to scrape them.
Fingers crossed for speedy and successful retest.
The grille, without sva caps, is standard Luego and looks go on the cars seen out and about. I am biased though as I have one!
What is the story with the big thing on the bottom of the dash. Is that really necessary?

In answer to some of your queriea
the mudguard is only just outside of the vertical line - it is ok on one side and the other i can just bend the stays slightly pushing the front edge
forward.
the big trim on the dash is a piece of pipe insulation covered in leatherette - protection to suit radius requirements - under that i have standard
vinyl edge trim - the pipe insulation takes 2 secs to remove after sva.
Thanks for the info, I suspected that and think I will need to do the same. How did you fix it to the dashboard to the examiners satisfaction but not leaving any perminent marks?
its rigid foam insulation (for 10mm pipe), and fits quite firmly over the bottom of the dash. The permanant edge trim is also fixed to the dash edge
under the foam, so this helps it from coming off.
