Afternoon all
Just filling out a dummy copy of my SVA test application as hopefully not too long now before the car is actually ready.
Q15 found axle weight info etc at the rear of the build manual butwhat do you put for train weight in kilos? where do you find this
the engine is a 2.0 unmodified pinto with type 9 if anyone has already filled this info out for a pinto powered Indy?
Thanks
Nigel

N/A
there is an excellent link to a guide on how to fill in the form in a sticky at the top of this section....
don't forget that q15 refers to the max laden weight NOT the weight of the car.... and the combined rear and front figures must equal the
total... most people seem to put something like 450 front 500 rear 950 total the other ?2? question are not applicable

Not really relevant here, but that's not strictly true, they must add up to the same or more than the gross weight.
yup - not strictly true - however people have had their forms rejected because the figures didn't equal! just a matter of 'playing the game'
All production cars will have axle weights that add up to significantly more than the gross weight so that you can legally reach the gross no matter how the load is distributed without exceeding either axle weight.
