AFAIK you get to have the age of the donor, but not the actual plate no

I have just done this (Thursday) you do not get the actual reg from the onor, only a reg from the same date, the reg will be a new one, ie it will never have been used on another car.

Cheers,

B

ah well a Q will do

If you want to keep the no. you will have to transfer it to retention before scrapping it, get your age related plate (if you have enough points) then transfer from the retention doc to your kit.

think retention plate out of question car was last on road 10 years ago.

just sorta realised i got too many projects i wanna do and gotta stream line due to cost space an all the factors in reality.

and the fact that the mrs has given the okay to start a locost (as long as it gets space for the kids) so all the volvo runnin gear i got gettin dug out and a lot of other stuff goin for scrap to pay for chassis was just hopin i could bluff dvlni that i used a different owner to get its plate...
