I've got access to a sierra 4x4 to get a few more donor bits.
i can probably get the VIN number off it. But the owers says he sent the v5 back to the dvla so isn't available. I'm assuming there would be no way to get the age related plate from this car?

I got an age related plate after the donor had been declared as scrapped with the DVLA, so you may have a chance. I had a photocopy of the old V5 though.

I scrapped my donor and when i presented it to the DVLA inspector looked at the build and asked where all the bits had come from, all I had was the letter from the DVLA stating the car had been scrapped. Next day I had an age related plate so was well happy.
