This is the second plug I would like to find a mating part for.
MK1 Focus circa 2004 electrical plug for the radiator and aircon cooling fans.
I'd be delighted if anyone can find a source for me.
Thank you once again,
John
I haven't found a match yet, but it's worth having a look at the TE website catalogue as this covers most of the common automotive connectors used in europe:https://www.te.com/usa-en/plp/automotive-connector-housings/Y30Dy.html?q=&n=41634&d=681710%20545392%20545680&type=products&samp les=N&inStoreWithoutPL=false&instock=N
When building my BEC i used the below as a reference point as to what the connectors were called. I typed in things like 6 pin male etc and found what
i needed

If you cant find the exact plug, how about finding a suitable 6 pin superseal plug that comes with male/female connectors and wire them in?
Thank you for your replies, really appreciated. Yes, I can certainly fit a complete plug but it's just easier if I can locate the mating half particularly as the fans draw quite a lot of current.
looks like a Deutsch DT or DTM to me (the DT is 13A / DTM is 7.5A) - my old Mk1 focus had quite a few of them from what I remember
13A:

Any other old focus bits your needing ? I've still got some odds and sods
I think I've even got one of those fans in the garage still (not the other half of the loom though)

Many thanks for the links. The plug housing has a cut out on one face which made me think it isn't a Deutsch connector. I shan't be using
the two speed option so if I have to source a plug I'll just get a 4 pin one. I doubt the standard Deutsch plug which is rated at 13 Amps
continuous would cope with the current drawn by the fans.
I've just come across the Deutsch DTP range which will certainly handle the current

You have U2U .
I've had a look through my spare parts, i don't have any of the same connectors but notice some of the similar ones have a ford engineering
number embossed on them.
The female plugs all end with an "A" suffix, and the matching male plugs have the same number with an "AA" suffix. If your
connector is marked, the engineering number can be worked out and cross referenced to a finis part number, it may be obsolete but might help find on
what other vehicles you can find the plug.
