As some of you may know i picked up the kit 6 weeks ago with a deadline of getting the car ready for a trackday at Cadwell on the 7th of July
(Wednesday)
Previous update
With Cadwell now only days away, the build has come on a long way, there's only minor jobs left to do, like the geo set up, cycle wings, finish
some of the bodyworks final fitting and fill and bleed the brakes and clutch.
The cars not been running yet, but i've no doubt that it will be ok well it's tomorrow job anyway, tidy the garage and run the engine up
to temp, upload the parameters to the digidash and then whatever else crops up
Thanks to Kev,Lee, and Steve at Roadrunner, Martin at Mk engineering and Steve Hignett for supplying the cycle wings at short notice, i should be
finished in time for cadwell, it won't be completely finished, but it will be far enough on to run safely.
Here a few pics of how it stands at the minute
That looks great - pretty quick build as well which suggests there few if any problems with the kit - were there any pitfalls along the way ?
That looks a proper weapon! On track for Cadwell?
yes pdm, very few if any issues with the build, The team at Roadrunner are putting together a really nice bit of kit. It does help that i've
built a few kits before too, as it helps you plan your way through the build to make best of what times available.
Yes Andy on track at Cadwell this wednesday and then Oulton park 4 weeks after that, as for it looks a weapon, well it might do but with 110bhp it
might prove to be a sheep in wolves clothing
Having said that, it had 110bhp 20 years ago, so account for a 2bhp loss each year since it was built and then say 20bhp loss through the tranmission,
then this will be putting out a heathly 50bhp at the wheels Feel the power
thats looking good chris
i had a chat with the roadrunner guys at newark they seem like a decent bunch

how long until we get the richard hammond miss fire excuse
even if its slow still looks great
Have to be honest, I can't say I like the holes in the bonnet but apart from that it looks gorgeous, love the diffuser
That rollcage is nuts, is that just for road use or is it design for race use?
I sence some FW400 inspiration for the bonnet - love the look of that car.
looking good chris
