Poor guy.

Oh well, I'm sure he'll soon be suing the council for the damages!

No doubt council tax bills in Egham will be going up even more next year...

theconrodkid - 18/6/04 at 05:55 PM

municipal employee?how much the council pay down there?

nicklondon - 18/6/04 at 06:29 PM

maybe he goes round looking for holes to fall in and lives of the compensation.

jmbillings - 18/6/04 at 09:07 PM

Ouch...

Useless fact : my girlfriend's sister lives just round the corner from the Ferrari/Maserati place in Egham. Its always a bit distracting approaching the roundabout as my eyes often divert to the right

Maybe he won't be able to sue, if he worked for the council then it could be argued that either he had insider knowledge of the pot hole, or maybe he put it there or he was negligent for not reporting it to his superiors ('superiors' is used without predjudice or implication).

He was probably a hard done by bin man..

Enjoy

I found another report on google news, apparently he is the MD of a mortgage brokerage.
Not a bin man
