Does your setup have an external microphone? It doesn't sound too good...
I reckon you need to cover your microphone in wind-proofing foam.
Either that or check the wiring to it. Polarity might be wrong?
I know - external mic and it was up under the dash.
Couldn't be arse'd faffing with it at the time!

Hi Joel,
Sorry mate - should of replied sooner. My HDD recorder gave up every time I pulled out of the pit lane so I have 11 clips of me driving round the
paddock ;-(
Shame as I would of caught the EVO that hit the wall 1st thing in the morning (write off).

How pants is that!

HDD based recorders won't survive long on a kit car especially if its a BEC with minimal engine damping. I have to use a foam lined box for my
Sony DV on a race car but it's OK on my softer Striker.
I use a "zorst" mic from Dogcamsport as it only records loud sound levels for track recording.
