hi
watched his new supercar dvd yesterday whilst taking a Lamborghini round the track he mentions people that reckon could beat him at petrol stations
one his a rover 216 with a turbo off a MG ZR?(turbo?) so he does it and blows it up quite funny
then he says the other one is a bed wiht springs and a bike engine that cost £3.60 odd
so then he gets in a Radical and drives it round the track and admits he enjoys it and amits it would give all the supercars a run for there money
also thats its 1/10th the price
But he would never feature them because its been built by a bloke in a shed whos put hardly any moeny into design quality like renault plough millions
and if he featured it and bits were falling off the bloke would prob get no orders his business would fail hed have to sell his house etc etc
something along thse lines!!!!!!!!!!
the real reason everyone is in one of his first comments he has no doubt they would give an enzo a run !!!!
an enzo wouldnt want that
hes funny in a simon cowell sour way thats about it
My Grandson was given a set of Top Trump Cards featuring super cars.
One was the Catteram Super seven Light. 1.8 engine, 0-60, 3.4 seconds.
Only two other cars in the pack could better it.
Mclarren F1 3.2s
Bugatti veyleron 3.2 s
No small wonder that Top gear do not recognise the existence of Kit cars.

Clarkson doesn't like anything he doesn't look good in/on.
He sat on a motorcycle, and looked a complete knob. Completely out of place.
I think the ZT260 and a pipe suited him perfectly
As someone mentioned on another thread, if Top Gear did Kitcars (and their homebuilt ilk) the performance per pound would (in TG opinions) show up
everything that costs sill money.
Which, of course, is utter crap. If Mr J Bloggs can afford a Kongisin whatever, he won't buy an Ultima. Those of us with sense would be the
Ultima for fun and a helicopter to get from A - B. Might not look as good, but hell of a lot quicker

Think your being a bit harsh on J.C. here.
He's tested lots of cars that provide supercar performance for reasonable money. Lotus Elise and exige's, Ariel's Atom etc.
They also featured the build of the Caterham at Knockhill, Ok, it didn't represent what really goes into putting a kit car together, but how many
people would really want to watch some bloke in his shed for months on end.
If you wanted the most mph for the least pennies, then you'd buy a secondhand Hayabusa. Blow your kit car into the weeds. Supercar performance
for about 3K anyone???
FYI JC had a test drive of a Cobra rep some time ago and walked away mortified, muttering about how he never driven anything so scary but so well
handling to date and cound'nt believe how much it cost
