SVA in the snow

Got my sva at 8 in the morning.
Been snowing like f**k today in newcastle.
Going to look like a total turnip in the silly plastic car with me helmet and waterproofs.
Any advice (sensible please) would be appreciated regards the weather conditions!

John

The sleet was coming "down" near-horizontal during my SVA!!!

(then again I didn't have to drive the car there, so it had no effect on me )

Attach hair driers to your nose and front wings so they melt the snow as you drive
Good luck with the test

Hmm welcome to the real world of open tops

Been utterly drenched quite a few times, even caught in torrential rain under a thunderstorm on the motorway while heading for a car show, Falcon virtually filled up with water and all my stereos speakers were wreaked.

Think I looked a bit of a plonker then

Good luck with the test

Pack the night before

Take a tarp if you have one in case you have to stop/park outside

Take a flask of coffee/tea

Wear lots of clothes and take a change in a bin liner

Leave early

Drive slowly

Most of all - enjoy the moment
