Registration, MOT and first drive

After my continuing saga with the DVLA insisting I had an MOT as I have a Q plate, I went down to the office and kicked up a stink, 10 minutes later I fanally got my plates
Got my plates made up and went for my first drive
A massive thank you for all the advice on this forum. Now where did I put my keys !!!

Told ya!!!! Congratulations. Unfortunately kicking up a stink seems to be the only way to get things done at some DVLA offices....

Great news... and Well done.

Now, just take it steady out there. Learn how your car drives, as if you have not driven a lightweight rear wheel drive car before, it can be interesting to say the least.

They are great cars, but dont spend all summer rebuilding just cause of a moments lapse of reson or concentration.

The roads are damp, greasy, and generally pretty crappy this time of year. The back end of the car will step out of line really easily in these conditions.

Better to drive carefully now, then have some fun with the car in the summer when the road conditions are better, and you are more experienced.

Still another car on the road... Well done..

Nice one that man and just in time for Spring.
The good news on Q plates is that come MOT time in 3 years they can only test your emissions visually.
Take care out there.
Cheers, Pewe
