SVA Pass(IDONTBELEIVEIT)
well guys,pi**ed it down all the way there but loved every minute, met the tester, quick coffee and a fag,put the prong in the exhaust FAIL,hydrocarbons
too high, great start, anyway carried on with all the other tests, all looking good till radius on aero screen too small, and on reverse gear lever, next
onto the ramps, all looked good under there, brake test all seemed fine, rolling road for speedo accuracy, earmuffs on and the tester gently warmed up the
engine then 6th gear upto 30 then 50 then 70 sounded lush, mirros good, self centering good, the tester then said we could have another go on the
emmissions, some times they run high on hydrocarbons when they've been idling a little while so he took it out for a blat round the station, came
in stuck in the prong reading about 1500ppm now still to high, aiming for about 1200ppm,so he let me back of the pressure regulator a bit and watched
em drop 1400,1300,1200 bang on,then cause that had got through let me file down the screen and gear knob, all good i thought,so i went and waited in
reception chopsing to some lad, hold on sounds like my car ripping round, went outside to find the tester getting some heat in the brakes the reading
looked a bit low(yeah, yeah)back on the brake test hey presto, anyway big thanks to adrian for good advice and also james for the ol RC car tyre around
me bottom shock platform and everyone else who's helped along the way
smiling my arse of wayno

Well done mate.
Will you be coming to the northants area meet on Wednesday?
You can tell us all about it there.
