SVA dash regs
Hi all,
A quick bit of advice please folks -
I an planning on using a vapour digi dash but my current dash panel has some cut outs in it already for a set of analogue dials. So I was planning on
using a nice piece of 1mm ali to cover it (vinyl is not an option as there is going to be basically no soft trim at all in the car). So my question
is - would a 1mm raised section of ali cause a 'sharp edge' in the eyes of the SVA/IVA tester or do I need to somehow 'hide'
the edges??
Thanks in advance
Chris

cover the edge in a bead of silicone and then just peel it off afterwards, but i don't think a 1mm sheet would cause a problem

just run around the edge with a fine file to sort of blunt it a little

don't write OT on a new thread title, you're creating the topic, everything you write is very much ON topic!

Or use some small U-trim - you know the stuff..... always seems to fall off after SVA!!

Just has to be blunted. Run a file over the edge.
