failed at exeter
early start and an hour and a half later we arrived at exeter 5 mins late(drove up)then got told there was not enough fuel in the car...my fault 3/4
full. Was allowed to nip round to a local station and fill up then got under way.A few edges to sort out, base of headlamp mounting bracket, edge of
megasquirt box, interior mirror, driver side mirror too low, emmisions slightly over at idle by .30,rear fog light not level and the stupid jount where
the side panel meets the rear on an indy(square to round) oh and lastly take the edges off a few front suspension nuts.So all in all some of which i
could have prevented but not too bad.Byron did a really fair test and was not judgemental,he even helped finalise my speedo cal for me ,it didnt fit
in the rollers as it sat on the sump so a drive round the car park was in order to asses and it made a effort to self centre so that was ok,pedal feel
could have been better but passed that bit.just need to get it running better now (another post ...lol)So had a good day, recommend exeter and just
got within a few miles of home before the rain.pics to follow when its dry.thanks to everyone for the advise and help over the past year.
ps.. after a chat about iva im glad i got in now it sounds like its going to be hard !!!

A good fail then.
I think the odds are stacked against a first-time pass and if they're relatively minor points at least you know you've done a half-decent
job. Also it helps when the examiner is helpful (and most with a certain exception on here today seem to be) as it gives you the confidence to sort
the fails out quickly.
BOL with the re-test.
Cheers, Pewe

That doesn't sound too bad - you'll soon be on the road!
If your ground clearance is that small, be careful! I holed the auto sump pan coming home from my first drive the other day!
When you get the MAC, try to persuade DVLA to issue tax and plate permit while you're there. I was told I'd receive it in the post
'in about two weeks' (from 16 Mar). It was actually posted AFTER I called them on 1 April...
