SVA weight accuracy

How accurate are the weights provided at SVA?

My car weighed in at 512kgs and I wouldn't have expected it to be that light.

Depends how they weighed it. If they did front axel then rear axel and added the values together then I don't think it is accurate. If they weighed the whole car then I don't see why it wouldn't be accurate.

It gives separate axle weights so I presume they were weighed that way.

I got my weights done prior to SVA on a scrap yard weigh bridge. They did front then back then total weight and there was only a 10kg difference between the totalled weights and the overall weight.
