Tax without an MOT?
Need to get some tax this week but how do you get it without a MOT? Is there an extra form to fill in? My car is a "Q" plate.

Do it online.
Or go to the PO and the puter tells them if you need an MOT.

The DVLA have a 'database' issue with Q's under 3 years old.
I had the same problem last year and have the same problem this year.
I just went to my local PO and they looked at the V5 for the registration date no probs on issuing the tax

More importantly is the car less than 3 years old anyway? if not then no you cant tax it without an MoT, not legally anyway.

if the car is less than 3 years old and you can't get tax online you can fill out an MOT Exemption form,(V112) and take it to the PO with your
insurance and V5 and they will do it over the counter
