MNR SVA fail - Taunton

Well I had my SVA at Taunton today, all I can say is what a great guy Adrian is, he did everthing he could to get us through the SVA with a pass.

I failed on only 1 item

NOISE!!!!

Unfortunately I didn't get MNR's SVA exhaust so had to cobble something together on Friday, so came away with a fail @ 105db, we tried putting some lagging on the underside of the bonnet but that only brought it down to 104db

So all in a great result!

Shame about the failure on noise but it could have been much worse.........

I was looking at a Caparo T1 last week being fitted with a ceramic exhaust that was 120db!!!!!

Well done, great result

Expecting a fail tomorrow, but will be happy to get there and get it tested! just found out that reverse light doesn't work, but still have to fit front indicators (and make the bars) and mirrors....and handbrake sensor needs fixing, headlamp adjustment, not even looked at self centering, and the list goes on...could be a late one..

hopefully we'll just come back with a shortish list to work on!
