Taxing Car

Hi Guys just tried to Tax car online and it wont let me, it says i need an mot cert, the car is on an age related plate and was only SVA'D in December its only been on the road 5 months, Will the Post Office accept a copy of the MAC Certificate ???????????

you need to go to the post office and fill in a V112 decleration of MOT exemption

I had the same 6 months after SVA. Turned out the V5 had been incorrectly coded by Swansea. I kept the local office contact details, phoned them up and they told me to send back the V5 with a cheque for the tax. They sent me the tax and logbook back to Swansea for a correction. I didnt know about the exemption form at the time.
