SVA mirror size
Hello all,
I am almost ready for my SVA retest, just a couple more things to do.
One thing I need to do is attach the wing mirrors. I have some fancy aerodynamic things at the moment, and was wondering if there was a minimum size?
70mm by 40mm rings a bell.
Mine are about 115mm wide by 50mm high.
Thanks
James

Well I would be if I was applying now, but I had my first test on 27th April, so have until October 27th to get all the things sorted.

you should have asked the guy at the first test! Its not about the test, its about the rapport (except in Southampton, where no-one has a fair
chance).
It needs to accommodate a rectangle 40mm high by 70mm wide.
Loads of other requirements (e.g. needs to view all the relevant things, no sharp edges, etc etc.)
Good luck.

Cheers Matt,
I would have asked at the first test, but then again I would also have asked about the hundred or so things that I hadn't fitted to the car (eg.
dash, boot panel, side repeaters etc. etc.)
Despite the massive fail sheets (yes, two of them!) the tester seemed like a really pleasant bloke, talking us through the test as we went.
Btw I was trying to get into the SVA system before IVA came in, hence the unfinished things.
Cheers,
James
