naughty naughty!
Imagine if someone bought the car and reapplied for the logbook... if the person who bought the docs hasn;t done it yet, it could get very messy!
Be alright for an autotest car or similar...

I bought my Magenta LSR under similar circumstances. It was on Ebay and sold for £1300. That was way too much for a rubbish kit car with no engine or
box and it was full of holes.
It turned up a few day later on Ebay without the reg plates and documents.
I bought the car for £102. I got the reg number off the first Ebay listing and applied for the documents.
A few weeks later a traffic cop turned up to look at the car because a bloke in Belgium (IIRC!) had also applied for the docs. I sjowed the plod the
car, the Ebay listings (I'd printed them) and some piccies of the car at a show many years ago.
They guy who sold the documents got an 18 month suspended sentance. The guy in Belgium (or wherever) got nothing for his £1300!!!!
I got the documents.
Earlier this year, another plod knocked at the door to inspect the LSR. Someone in Belgium had applied for the documents for the LSR and used an
engine number from a stolen motorbike! So far, the LSR was the only lead Interpol had for a major vehicle theft ring........
Once the cop realised my engine wasn't a bike engine, he was happy.
