Harness Mounting height

Ok guy's.

The SVA manual say's that the minimum hieght for Harness mounting above seat is 450mm + 53mm for the know block measure.

Can it be higher and is it better to be higher as i'm welding in a cross tube with mounts to the roll bar?

The SVA manual details the MINIMUM height. Higher is better - especially if you're tall as it stops your spine being broken in a bad crash.

Just watch the extra height if your belts go through seat holes, if the belt passes through these and then goes way above these the seat strenght comes into play !
But, as above, heigher is better.
