DVLA V55/5 Form
Evening,
I am trying to complete the V55/5 form.
I have searched and none of the links posted to example forms are working. Does anyone have an example they could post or guidance as to which
sections to complete. I am going to the DVLA to get the paperwork checked tomorrow, but would like it nearly there first and at the moment, I
havn't got the foggiest.
Thanks in advance.
Why do it the easy way, when I can do things my way!

I might still have a photocopy of my sva one. What specific questions are you struggling on. I seem to remeber it was relatively straight forward.
If it looks wrong it probably is wrong.

Making progress I think.
Not registered yet, do I use the Donor Registration Mark or leave point 1 blank
Taxation Class ?
there are multiple weights, not sure which ones I need to complete and what goes in each?
Did you leave all emissions blank?
Cheers

Well it looks like I did not copy the 55/5 sorry
I do however have the form that the dvla gave me it's a 55/4 and the guy was good enough at the time to cross next to the information he
required at the time.
So I presume your sva/Iva etc is passed
the info required (on the 55/4 which was a predecessor IIRC)
Is
period of licence required (6 or 12 months)
Make ( whatever you want to call it)
model ( again whatever you want)
Type of body ( 2axle rigid body)
colour ( whatever it is)
no of seats ( 2)
type of fuel (petrol)
vin/chassis no ( either what you made up or were issued.
engine no ( you should have it )
cylinder capacity ( again quite simple)
And that was it. There may be some more on the 55/5 but I cannot remeber putting in any weights ( except on the axle bits of the SVA application).
The local guy did the rest and had all certs and plates within a week.
If it looks wrong it probably is wrong.
