Tax class for 'new build' kitcar with recon engine (or new but old!?)
If a kit car is built from all new (bar one recon to new) parts and a recon engine on or new from a manufacturer (but it was not 'new'
enough to have been CO2 accessed) is fitted, how to DVLA choose its tax class?

don't write OT on a new thread title, you're creating the topic, everything you write is very much ON topic!

All kit cars are taxed on engine capacity regardless of the age of the engine.
