push button start and insurance

if i fit one will it muck up the insurance?

no so long as it doesn't just start without even putting a key in. Leaving it live all the time is just asking for an accident.

Shouldn't do as long as you still have the same level of security?

I fitted one but kept the ignition barrel which is hidden away elsewhere in otherwords it won't operate without key

I just wired mine across position '3' on the ignition key so you can either start as normal with the key, or turn it to '2' and then press the button.

Handy for posing infront of easily impressionable people.

ah...you can start it without a key, but you need the key for the steering lock, ive got the big battery cut out switch, but not wired it in yet...
