SVA PASS
HI ALL
Just to let you all know that the sva isn't
as daunting as we all think. I had mine this morning and all it took was two tie wraps and an eigth of a turn on the mixture screw on the carbs.
Just registration to sort now and i'm on the road hopefully the 1st of May. Thanks for all the help received on this forum Jacko. p.s.
test was at Beverley couldn't fault the service and help of the staff there.

SVA
Well done Jacko, I bet you're relieved.
I've got my SVA tommorrow morning.
I'm panicing like mad! I must have checked my car over 10 times.
I've now had the workshop keys taken off me so that I can't get to my car until the morning I think I might just flick through the
manual one more time in case I have missed something.
I just hope it doesn't rain, otherwise I will be driving a mobile swimming pool!
Good luck to Alister and Gordon for Thursday
Cheers
Tim

I know exactly what you mean!
My nerves are shot! The good news is I seem to have everything going OK (cat and so on) - Wednesday I take her to check the emmisons at a local
garage - Thursday is the big day. I have heard some VERY bad reports of the tester at Newtonards though. I'll try to keep an open mind!

Nice one Jacko!
Ninja, the testers at Derby are firm but fair and are very helpful. Take lots of spare clips, tools, tape and tiewraps and if they fail it you might be
able to fix on site. I needed rear reflectors and they gave me some self adhesive ones and said send replacements by post. Top crew.
yours, Pete
I went into the RSPCA office the other day. It was so small you could hardly swing a cat in there.

Thanks for all your comments. I hope those of you waiting for SVA sail through it as I have. I hope the sun shines as it did for me. I just made it
home before the rain. Let us know how your SVA's went Jacko.
