Reading StevieB's posting today, he was advised to go to his local DVLA office, mine is 60 odd miles away, will they do it on the phone. Can you
tax it there and then as I need the car for Detling next weekend. Why is it always paperwork and red tape that holds you up?.

You will have great difficulty getting through to Maidstone (or any local DVLA) on the phone. if you can't get to M'stone in person I
would suggest you try speaking to someone at Swansea - the trick is finding someone who knows about kit car registration.
