Just had a call from my local dvla office saying that he was processing my application as we speak and it will be on a 2010 plate and no inspection
would be needed
unfortunately he wouldn't let me go down and collect all the paperwork but i should get it in the next few days
Its only taken 7 days as well

don't write OT on a new thread title, you're creating the topic, everything you write is very much ON topic!

Surely you need a BUI (for engine number and color check)? Or has the DVLA decide to trust VOSA??

ah, fair do's
i dread getting a new reg on mine you see the worst thing that could happen to me is they phone and say you've got a new reg, and no need for
an inspection, i'd be saying no! inspect it! there's not a single new part on it! lol i want a Q!

Yes it is an Mk cage
I'll get some pictures tmorrow won't be the best background as don't have the registration to get the plates made yet
thanks for saying it's nice there's lots of little features that complete it

What kind of wind deflector do you have? I didn't buy the deflector from MK as it look a bit weird and apparently isn't very effective.
