Copper fuel pipe + IVA

Just been reading a magazine with a bit about IVA's and it says all fuel pipe needs to be marked. I've just bought some 8mm microbore copper heating pipe for the fuel lines. Have i wasted my money?

Copper is not a good metal to use. It work hardens and suffers from fatigue. The stuff you want is a copper/nickel alloy called cunifer. It is also resistant to road salt unlike copper and is easier to bend and flare!
