What do you mean by class C? As in driving licence class C for light goods vehicles?
IVA for them has not come in yet but the manual is available on Businesslink.

he said that as its not amateur built, its class c...but you have to send in a letter of intent with your forms to get class c status.
if they dont give you that, it goes to class r, and if it doesnt get that it goes nowhere.
he was very guarded and as helpful as we all know vosa are, so i dont know much else.

Don't know what he means then I'm afraid. class c IS 'amateur built' if you look at the definitions near the beginning of the
IVA manual. There is no class r.
I think you need to go back to him and ask him for a reference in the manual.

What is it that they say? "Never argue with an idiot as they drag you down to their level and beat you with experience!"
