SVA Pass - finally

Well, it finally happened, I passed the emissions yesterday, no problems at all. All I'e got to contend with now is my useless, jobsworth local DVLA office.

I sat and waited for 50 mins for some spotty urchin to finally check my paperwork, to be told the car needed inspecting. So I asked him why, and he said to check it's identity, to which I replied 'Is a 4 hour SVA not enough?'. Ok I said, the cars downstairs, you can come and check the chassis number. Oh no, he replied, it has to be booked in, first slot, next Monday morning. So I'll get issued my Q plate then? Oh no, he replied again, it will take another 24-48hrs for the manager to check the paperwork.

So no car for Newlands this weekend - ARSE

But on a lighter note I now have in my sweaty little hand a nice NOZ kit ready to install

Gordon - not sure about Newark, it's a bloody long way in a BEC! Have to see how the weather is nearer the time, and if I have enough family credits to get away! It will be the Sunday if I do come.

Ned - they are all f**kers !!

well done mate! i had the performance today of taking mine the fifty or so miles to ipswich just for some bloke to look at the vin plate(already looked at on sva and two retests and mot) and take some reciepts for evidence! then drive home again, this all took the vast time of ten minutes. now i just have to wait for the post to arrive with my letter telling me my reg number then out to play!
